Samuel Medas

Samuel Medas, a renowned Guyanese gospel artist, has captivated global audiences with his music. Born in Uitvlugt, West Coast Demerara, his musical journey started in a family rooted in faith and music. At five, Samuel taught himself piano, and his singing talent emerged during a Sunday school rally. Despite challenges, a near-fatal accident led him to fully embrace his faith and music career. In 2008, Samuel and his cousin Allan Petty formed Cross Carriers, leading to his successful solo career. His music, including the hit "Royalty," reflects his life experiences and spiritual journey, resonating with themes of identity and perseverance. Samuel stands out for his ability to write and produce his music, creating a deep connection with his audience. His accolades include being the first Guyanese to win a Marlin Award. Samuel has toured extensively across the Caribbean, the USA, and recently Europe and Africa. Beyond music, he inspires others to pursue their dreams despite societal and economic challenges.
