
Kwasi Ace
Kwasi "Ace" Edmonson, born on August 13, 1981, in Plaisance, Guyana, faced early life challenges, including the loss of his mother and two brothers, yet found renewed hope through the births of his children, Brandon and Tianna. His passion for performing arts began in primary school and flourished through secondary school, culminating in involvement with the Theatre Guild and participation in Carifesta X in 2008. Kwasi overcame his stage fright as a lead vocalist, becoming known for his poetic lyricism and comedy, and achieving fame with hits like "Stupid Questions" and "Still in the Game," eventually winning the Carib Soca Monarch Crown. A staunch advocate for authentic Guyanese music, Kwasi contributed to projects like the "Link Show," "Mori J’von Comedy Jam," and "Stretched Out Magazine," and produced his own comedy show, "A Diff’rent Kinda Ting."
